Tommy and Mary Pacolette Genoble purchased Eggers Funeral Home in March 2020, continuing its tradition of family ownership and personal service. As Upstate natives, they value the relationships and community ties that make serving local families a privilege.
Tommy’s roots in funeral service span three generations. His grandfather founded Holcombe Funeral Home in Union in 1949, and his mother, Gladys Holcombe Genoble, continued that family tradition through her work there. A 1986 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Tommy brings more than 40 years of experience to his work. His family’s legacy shapes his commitment to treating each family with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Mary Pacolette is a licensed funeral director and advance funeral planner with a background in elementary education and high school guidance counseling. She holds a master’s degree from Winthrop University. Her experience as an educator and counselor brings a thoughtful, caring approach to helping families navigate loss and make meaningful arrangements. She also helps individuals plan ahead, easing the burden of future decisions for their loved ones.
