Jack Holt Huskey

Jack Holt Huskey, age 69 of Cliffside, NC, passed away peacefully Friday, August 19, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC. Jack was born January 28, 1953 to the late Maude Elizabeth Holt Huskey and the late Buren Birch Huskey. Jack was a graduate of Western Carolina University and Isothermal Community College where he became a licensed LPN. He was the first certified EMT in Rutherford County. Jack was a past president of the board of directors for the Piedmont Rescue Association, a past master of the Cliffside Masonic Lodge #460 and a member of the Valley of Charlotte Scottish Rite with a 33 ^rd Degree. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cliffside Baptist Church. Jack lived his life helping to save lives and serve his community.

He is survived by one niece Satin Huskey of South Carolina, several cousins and his Masonic brothers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gary Buren Huskey.

The visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:30pm on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The Rescue Prayer and Masonic rites will be given at 2:30pm following the visitation in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. Burial will be at Cleveland Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, NC. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is in charge of arrangements.
