Zbigniew Apoloniusz Krawiec

Zbigniew Apoloniusz Krawiec, 84, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024.

Born in Glogowko, Poland, he was the son of the late Joseph Krawiec and Czeslawa Apryasz Krawiec. At the young age of 8, Zbigniew travelled from Poland to the U.S. alone by ship to meet his father. Zbigniew was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Zbigniew was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was so full of life. Every morning, he and his wife would hold hands and go walking around the neighborhood. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Zbigniew loved taking vacations with his family. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lydia Marie Bank.

Left to cherish Zbigniew's life is his wife, Theresa J. Krawiec; son, Matthew Brian Krawiec (Jennifer); daughter, Andrea Theresa Moore; sister, Myra Sakiewicz; son-in-law, Ed Bank; three grandchildren, Sophia Grace Krawiec, Audrey Kate Krawiec, and John Bank; and many cousins in various states and Poland.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday, July 8, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with military honors.
