William "Bill" Michael Slone

William "Bill" Michael Slone, age 53 of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at his home. Bill was born January 28, 1969 in Stark County, Ohio to Irene Van Dyke Slone and the late Dallas Texas Slone.

Bill loved to fish and explore the mountains as he could walk around the woods for hours just enjoying nature. He loved to make people laugh and never met a stranger but most of all Bill will be fondly remembered by his family as a loving father, son, grandfather and friend to everyone who knew him.

Bill is survived by his mother Irene Van Dyke Slone, his son Haiden Slone, daughters Autumn Slone and Summer Slone, granddaughters Paislee Slone and Karaline Slone.

In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Franklin Slone and his sister Jeanne Slone Bostic.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. No other services will be held. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
