William Glen Hart

William Glen Hart, 88, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born in Escambia, Alabama on May 2, 1935 to the late Gladys Elliot Hart and William Madison Hart.

Mr. Hart was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Spartanburg. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Salley Hart; daughters, Shari Metcalf, Kelly Hyde (David), and Teresa Flora (Alfred); two estranged sons; sister, Margaret Edwards; brother, Phillip Hart; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Gladys and William, he was predeceased by a sister, Lynn Jordan; and brothers, Bobby Hart and Donald Hart.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee, with the Rev. Brian Redding officiating.
