William Gene Cooper

William "Gene" Cooper, 76, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, November 28, 2024, after and incredible fight with cancer.

Gene retired from Michelin after working 40 years at the Spartanburg plant. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening but most of all he loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sherry: a son, Billy (Windi); daughter, Ashley (Twrin); 5 grandsons, Christopher, Ty, Latwon (Hannah), Evan and Brody; 2 granddaughters, Ila, Jarina: 2 great-grandchildren, Liam and Mackenzie.  He is survived by a brother, Don (Carolyn).
