William "Blake" Carson

William "Blake" Carson, age 63, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023.  Mr. Carson was born in Walterboro, SC on March 3, 1959 to the late James Grady and Carol Francis Owens Carson.

Blake was humble and had a love for humanity.  He was humorous and loved to make people laugh.  Blake enjoyed music, dancing, fishing with old and new friend and also loved his peaceful place Pete's Creek Nature Trail.

Left to cherish his memory are a son, Josh; sisters, Debra, Carol, and  Norma; brother, Grady; his beloved dog, Pee Wee; special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Pettis, Jillian Newberry, and Laura Harrill.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Carson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Boiling Springs with the Rev. Terry Candler officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Benson, Elvis Edward, Lucas Cox, Danny Dill, Tyler Helton.
