Wanda Mcdowell Hughes

Wanda McDowell Hughes, 72, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away peacefully Monday, March 11, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Bryan K. McDowell and Mamie J. McDowell. Wanda was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Hughes, Jr.; brother, Bertrum McDowell; sister, Alice Ridings; and brother-in-law, Buford Ridings.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Ginger Hunter (Roger); and two granddaughters, Jenna Hunter and Peyton Hunter.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Belton Drake officiating.
