Troy John Waters

Troy John Waters, age 55, of Spindale, NC, passed away at Rutherford Regional Hospital, on June 24, 2024.  Born with a passion for art and music, Troy was a beloved Rutherford community member known for his warm spirit and creative talents.  He found immense joy in spending time with his family who were the center of his world.

Troy was preceded in death by his mother and father, Julie Elizabeth Waters and Lewis Waters, his brothers, Ronald Waters, Joe Waters, Ricky Waters, and Carl Waters; and his sister, Lisa Goode.

He is survived by his two sons, Jordan and Bryson Waters, and his granddaughter Evelyn Waters who were his pride and joy.  He is also survived by his sisters, Jeanette Beck, Mary Conner and Donna Hardin; and two brothers, Jimmy Waters and Wade Waters. Along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  His legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to family will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Troy's Life at First Baptist Church of Bostic, 188 East Church Street, Bostic on Friday June 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM, the family will receive friends at 11:00 AM.  Flowers may be sent to First Baptist Church of Bostic.  If you would like to make a donation towards final expenses, please contact Jordan Waters via Facebook.
