Thomas Edward Glover Jr.

Thomas Edward Glover, Jr., 81, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

He was born January 15, 1943, to the late Thomas Edward Glover, Sr. and Dorothy E. Glover. Mr. Glover was of the Baptist faith and a member of First North First Baptist North Spartanburg. He was a Vietnam veteran, served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of the American Legion. Tom was the founder and owner of Thomas Glover Associates Inc. in Inman, SC for 36 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Linda Cogdell Glover, are his daughter, Rebecca G. Green (Andrew Keith); son, Thomas Edward Glover, III (Candace); sister, Mary Helen Hicks (Phillip); brothers, Richard Glover (Sherrie) and Timothy Glover (Mary Jo); grandchildren, Andrew Green, Jr., Thomas E. Glover, IV, and Meredith Stuart (Chris); great-grandchildren, Cora Jane Stuart and Savannah Stuart. Mr. Glover was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Thomas Glover; and brother, James Glover.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the main sanctuary of First North First Baptist North Spartanburg. The Patriot Guard Riders will assemble in honor of Mr. Glover during the services. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 200.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 11, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Rock at First North First Baptist North Spartanburg.
