Thomas Hiriam Cooley

Mr. Thomas Hiriam Cooley, age 76, loving husband of Deborah Cooley, went home to
be with the Lord Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Cooley was born April 2, 1948, in Greenville, SC a son of the late Walter Tillman
Cooley and Inez Bannister Cooley. He was a member of First North First Baptist North Spartanburg Church, where he was involved in the Children's Ministry, and retired from Michelin after thirty-one years of service. Mr. Cooley's granddaughters brought him much happiness  and he enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of fifty-three years are son, David Cooley, and wife
Tonya; granddaughters, Mackenzie Cooley, and Logan Cooley; and, sister, Jean
Harling. Mr. Cooley was predeceased by two sisters, Faye Wood, and Carolyn Philbee;
and brother, James Manning Cooley.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2024, at First North First Baptist North Spartanburg with the Rev. Dr. Mike Hamlet and the Rev. Randy Pettit officiating.

Pallbearers will be Gene Cooper, Tom Bedenbaugh, Bruce Hoppes, Bill Haguewood, Jim West, and Jack Hucks.

The family will receive friends at First North from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2024 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs.
