Terry Glenn Landers

Terry Glenn Landers, age 63, of Moore, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born July 14, 1962, at Patrick Air Force Base in Eau Gallie, Florida, he was the son of Gerald Hugh Landers and the late Scerita Alice Sheridan Landers.

Terry worked as a real estate appraiser and tax consultant. He was a proud Clemson Tigers fan who earned his Administrative Management degree from Clemson University in 1985.  Terry regularly attended Clemson football games, and hosting tailgates became a Landers tradition each fall. He was a faithful member of Church at The Mill.

Terry was a family man at heart who was never happier than when surrounded by the people he loved, especially babies and children. In his younger years he devoted much of his time to youth work as a counselor at 4-H and Civitan Camps, leaving a lasting impression on those he served. He had a genuine love for music of all kinds, especially live, enjoyed playing basketball throughout his life, and cherished the tropical vacations he and his family took together.

He will be remembered with great fondness for his sense of humor and his ability to make everyone around him smile — a gift he carried with him until the very end.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly: his wife of 40 years, Robin Bailey Landers; daughter, Jessica Landers, and fiancé Marcus McMillian; son, Jamie Landers, and wife, Emily; father, Jerry Landers, and bonus mother, Bonnie; brother, Larry Landers, and wife, Phyllis; sister, Anita Zimmerman, and husband, Jeff; brother, Barry Johnson, and wife, Lorie; his father-in-law, Roy Bailey; sisters-in-law, Kim Sugg, and husband, Lynn, and Laura Brogan, and husband, Tom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Shirley Bailey.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 6, 2026, in the chapel of Church at The Mill Chapel, conducted by Rev. Dwayne Morris.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
