Teresa Lynn Looney Fowler

Teresa Lynn Looney Fowler, age 51, loving wife of Jeffery Dean Fowler of Reidsville, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at her parents’ residence in Moore, SC.

Teresa was born in Lansing, Michigan, on October 17, 1974, to Jack Dean and Ivita G. Lawson Looney of Moore. She was a wonderful woman with a beautiful soul who truly cared about everyone. Her compassion for others was evident in her career as a caregiver in the home healthcare field. Teresa was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Most important to Teresa was her family, especially her loving husband, cherished children, and beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of more than 30 years, Jeffery, Teresa is survived by her two daughters, Britnee Lunsford and her husband, Ryan, of Gibsonville, NC, and Emilee Fowler of Spartanburg; a son, Cameron Sweezy and his wife, Megan, of Spartanburg; a brother, Michael Looney and his wife, Tricia, of Spartanburg; a nephew, Jacob Looney and his wife, Hannah, of Spartanburg; nieces, Katie Looney and Kassidy Looney; and nine grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in the Chapel of Grundy Funeral Home in Grundy, Virginia. Burial will follow at Baldwin Mountain Cemetery.

In memory of Teresa’s love for flowers, flowers will be accepted at the visitation.

Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs is serving the Fowler family in South Carolina, and Grundy Funeral Home of Grundy, Virginia, is serving the family in Virginia.
