Sylvia Mae Wilson

Sylvia Mae Wilson, 80, of Cowpens, South Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 19, 2026. She was born January 31, 1945 in Spartanburg to the late Clarence Price and Sudie Mae Brock Price.

Sylvia was a graduate of Chesnee High School and a member of Mayo First Baptist Church. She had a loving caretaker for many years, Dawn McKinney.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jenny Black (Allen), Theresa Hudson (Eddie), and Donna Wilson; sisters, Doris Hill and Mary Davis; brothers, Larry Price and Charlie Price; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and one great grand child on the way.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Theron C. Wilson, she was predeceased by daughters, Debbie Franklin and Diane King; a son, Jeff Cantrell; and a grandson, Billy Caldwell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 1:30PM at Mayo First Baptist Church, with Rev. Glenn Rusher officiating. The family will receive friends at the church, from 1:00PM until 1:30PM, prior to the service.
