Stephen Westley Raines

Stephen Westley Raines, 72, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was born in Spartanburg on August 1, 1951 to the late Peggy Yvonne Hall Raines and Lawrence Charles Raines.

Mr. Raines was a part time employee of Boiling Springs Golf Center, and part owner of P&L Landing at Lake Murray. He loved his grandchildren, and enjoyed fishing and golfing.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Christine Raines Phillips and her husband, Dale; son, David Doyle Raines and his wife, Pam; sisters, Carol Raines Morgan and Karen Raines Rhodes; grandsons, Robert David Raines, Robert Westin Phillips, and Christian Raine Phillips; granddaughter, Kathryn Alayna Phillips; and sister-in-law, Bertha Blanton Raines.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Katholeen O. Raines; son, Charles Westley Raines; and brothers, Charles Lee Raines and Phillip Edward Raines.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
