Stephen Pavlasek

Stephen Pavlasek, Jr., of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away, April 22, 2025, at his residence.

Stephen was born on September 26, 1945, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to his parents, Stephen Pavlasek, Sr. and Savilla Stambaugh Pavlasek.

He graduated proudly from Clemson University (GO TIGERS!) with a bachelor's degree in agriculture science and a devoted member of Delta Phi Kappa. Following his academic pursuits, he served many years as a Deputy State Statistician for the US Department of Agriculture. Stephen also served honorably in the United States Army Reserves from 1966 to 1972 and was a devoted member and Elder of Unity Presbyterian Church in Inman.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 58 years, Connie Shoemaker Pavlasek; son, Stephen Spencer Pavlasek; daughter, Kinzi Pavlask Dill; sister, Sharon Hines (Russ); nephew, Joseph Hines; niece, Emma Hines; grandsons, Kevin Dill Jr., affectionately known as Doodlebug, and Kyle Dill, lovingly called Pumpkin, and his furry companion, Harley.

Special thanks to his caregivers during his final days, Mickie and Shay.

A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Unity Presbyterian Church, 750 Rainbow Lake Road, Inman, SC.

Please wear orange, purple, or white in honor of Stephen's love for Clemson.
