With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Jean White, who peacefully departed this life on May 26, 2026, at the age of 73.

Shirley was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcomed and valued, and she touched the lives of many through her compassion, generosity, and love. Her presence brought comfort, encouragement, and joy to those who knew her.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, caring nature, and the many memories shared with family and friends throughout her life. Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Nelson, and her daughter, Keyoka White.

She is survived by her sister, Norma Jean Goldsmith; her children, Rhonda Parks and Ronald White; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

While her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, those who loved her find comfort in the memories she created and the impact she made on the lives of so many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, with Rev. Cole Beebe officiating. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the services.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
