Shirley Jean Burnett

Shirley Jean Burnett, 79, of Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clifton Belcher and Lois Clayton Belcher. Shirley graduated from Chapman High School. She was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church in Inman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Armstrong, Geraldine Cook and Wilma Humphries; three brothers, Robert Belcher, Frankie Belcher and Louie Belcher; and mother-in-law, Wilma Burnett.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 61 years, Perry Burnett; daughter, Melissa Mandrona (Bill); son, Cliff Burnett (Michelle); three sisters, Martha Brown, Faye Campbell (Vance) and Jessie Southern; five grandchildren, Beth Phillips (Josh), Katie Tucker (Daniel), Andrew Mandrona, Cole Mandrona and Garrett Mandrona; and two great grandchildren, Emma Tucker and William Tucker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with the Rev. Monty King, Rev. Bruce Brown and Rev. Billy Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
