Shelia Kay Honeycutt Freeman

Shelia Kay Honeycutt Freeman, a life-long resident of Rutherford County, died unexpectedly in her home at the age of 63. She was born on February 15, 1960 to the late Ruby Kay Rowe Honeycutt and Billy Dean Honeycutt.

Shelia worked as a talented stylist and esthetician, and she found great joy in making people look and feel their best. Known for her lively spirit and infectious laughter, she always had a captivating story to tell. Shelia loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

Shelia is survived by her father, Billy Dean Honeycutt; her children, Jayme Roper and Chad Roper; grandchildren Ezekiel Lawing, Zoei Cole, and Chace Roper; siblings Michael Honeycutt (Nikki), Darron Honeycutt (Renee), Darlene Honeycutt, and Krystal Gosnell (Travis); as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Kay Rowe Honeycutt, and her brother, Morris Dillard Honeycutt.

Shelia will be deeply missed by those of us who knew and loved her, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  July11, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home in Chesnee
