Sheila Marie Scroggs

Sheila Marie Scroggs, age 66 of Forest City, passed away Monday, April 17 ^th at her home.

Sheila was born March 14 ^th 1957 in Prince George, Maryland. She worked as a paramedic for Rutherford County while also serving as the Chief Paramedic for many years. In addition to being a wonderful paramedic she was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and friend.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters Deborah Earley of Rutherfordton, Leslie Lewis of Spindale, two children Joseph "Bo" Morrow and his wife Candice, Jessica Michelle Randall, four grandchildren Austin Bennett and his fiancé Katie, Taylor Bennett, Madison Morrow, Presley Morrow, one Great granddaughter Emberly Campbell, three nephews Billy Aldridge and wife Celeste, Kaden Baker and Johnathan Lewis, two great nieces Cheyenne and Ashley Aldridge.

She was preceded in death by her mother Martha White and her father Lester Mooney.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 21, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00 am at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC with Reverend Chris Fox officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City, NC. Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
