Sharon Michelle Blalock Goings

On December the 19th, 2025, Sharon Michelle Goings (Michelle) went home to be with the Lord. Michelle worked at Spartanburg Regional Hospital as a Behavioral Health Tech for ten years and previously worked at Valley Falls Nursing Home as a CNA for 20 years. Michelle was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother (Mimmay). She was a member of Rainbow Baptist Church for twenty-five years. She was strong in her faith and Loved the Lord with all her heart!

Surviving relatives are husband, Stephen Goings, Mother, Martha Steadman (Homer), Brother, Micah Swaney, son Joshua Rogers (Annie), daughters, Meghan Summersill (Brad), and Amanda Lockhart (Samariah), Bonus son Chad Varner, and Bonus daughter Jacqueline Parton (Lee). She had twelve grandchildren, Landon, Canaan, Jaxon, Kinley, Payton, Aiden, Kate, Addison, Leah, Elijah, LeAnne, and Olivia.

She was predeceased by her father, Zeno Blalock, Grandmother, Ruth Blalock, and sister, Annette Guy.

Pallbearers will be, Domonick Butler, Chad Varner, Dale Varner, C.J. Causey, Mike Russell, Austin Bowyer and Brian Martin.

Visitation will be at Eggers Funeral Home in Boiling Springs, Tuesday, December 23rd, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Rainbow Baptist Church on December 26th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bart Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
