Saundra Lee Shammot-Baker

Saundra Lee Shammot-Baker, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023.

She was born on February 18, 1943 in Luthersburg, PA to the late Milton Pierce and Emma Long Pierce. Saundra was a truck driver for many years, and traveled to 48 out of 50 states. She loved caring for children. She was also loyal, honest, and was always a fighter. Saundra was a huge Elvis fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baker; son, Edward Baker; and infant daughter, Kimberly Shammot.

Saundra is survived by her four daughters, Sherrie Thompson, Suzanne Baker, Tammy Vasquez, and Kerry Middlebrooks; son, Daniel Shammot; sister, Joanne Garrison; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
