Sarah Ruth Tesseniar

Mrs. Sarah Ruth Tesseniar, age 98, of Campobello, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Tesseniar was born in Spartanburg, SC, July 19, 1924, a daughter of the late Roy Finch and Annie Mae Harvey Finch. She was of the Church of God Faith. Mrs. Tesseniar was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife.

Surviving in addition to her husband, George K. Tesseniar are daughters, Sandra Shipman, Judy Arrowood, and Freida Cooksey; grandchildren, Tamela Davis, Rhonda Holland, Sherry Steadman, Christopher Cooksey, James Cooksey, and Nikkie Corbin; sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Ellen Godfrey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 24, 2023, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Rev. David Duncan and Rev. Frank Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Merendino, Otis Steadman, Bradley Holland, Adam Holland, Carson Holland, and Kenneth Phillips.

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 4:00PM until 6:00 PM.

The family will be at the home.
