Sarah Larue Southerlin

Sarah LaRue Hightower Southerlin, 87, of Clemson formerly of Chesnee, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at The Gables on Pelham. Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Alfred Hightower and Genova Bomar Hightower. She was the loving wife for 39 years of Jim Southerlin. She worked in accounting for Winn Dixie Grocery Stores. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved dearly.

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, Jim, are grandsons, Travis Johnson, and Ben Johnson (Alyssa); and three great grandchildren, Maci, Coleson, and Brody. She was preceded in death by her parents.
