Sarah Chapman Ramsey

Sarah Chapman Ramsey, 89, of Spartanburg, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born December 25, 1935, to the late Montague Wall Chapman and Edward Dallas Chapman.

Sarah was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She loved children and working with them in church. Her grandson, Zach, was her pride and joy. She was one of 10 children; 3 girls and 7 boys.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Teresa Ramsey Comer (Michael); grandson, Zach Comer (Shelby); and great granddaughter, Sarah Jean Comer.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Albert Kenneth Ramsey, who passed away on July 30; and a son, Scott Ramsey.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Good Shepherd Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Pruitt officiating.
