Rose Dyer Nix

Rose Dyer Nix, 87, wife to William "Bill" C. Nix of Campobello passed peacefully on September 14, 2025 at her home. Born April 1, 1938, in Yellow Springs, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Dyer, and Clara Breakall.

A faithful member of Praise Cathedral Church of God, Rose lived her life with structure, grace, and purpose. She believed wholeheartedly that "practice makes perfect" and encouraged those around her to always do things the right way. Humble and nurturing, Rose found her greatest joy in caring for her family and others. She was a true homebody, happiest in her kitchen, where every dish she made quickly became a family favorite. Rose loved trying new recipes and collected more cookbooks than one could count, though her impressive shoe collection may have come close.

Rose's greatest joy, after her faith, was her family. She loved them deeply and cared for everyone she met. Her kindness, warmth, and Christ-like spirit left an impression on all who knew her. To know Rose was to know the love of Jesus shining through her.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband Harold Camp, a brothers, Donald E. Dyer, and Ralph Dwayne Dyer; sister Patricia E. Hill, and a son in law, Phil Calvert.

Rose is survived by her loving husband Bill, daughters; Kelly Camp Waters (Mark), and Vickie Camp Calvert; stepdaughter, Kim Nix Greene; stepson, Scotty Nix (Irene); eight grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

A graveside service to celebrate Rose's life will be held 11:00AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park with Bishop Kevin Walters officiating.

The family invites those who wish to visit with Rose, to Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, whenever they are able.
