Ronnie Clary, Sr.

Mr. Henry Ronald "Ronnie" Clary, Sr., age 78, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Clary was born in Woodruff, South Carolina on October 27, 1946, a son of the late Mary Elizabeth Clary and Pinkney Lafayette "Jack" PL Clary. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railway for thirty-six years as a freight engineer. He was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge #333 and was also a Shriner. He was a Navy veteran and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Clary was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Atlanta Braves. He dearly loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His dog, Ruger, was a faithful companion.

Left to cherish his memory are, wife, Karen Wagoner Clary; daughter, Kelly Clary Quinn (Arthur); stepdaughters, Amber Armour (Damon), Hilary Larson (Mike), and Miranda Wagoner (Rob); sister, Tricia Batchler (Leon); sister-in-law, Linda Clary; sixteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clary was predeceased by his first wife, Brenda Cantrell Clary; an infant son, Henry Ronald Clary, Jr.; and a brother, Jackie Brockman Clary.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Rev. Joel Sellers officiating.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
