Ronnie Wayne Morgan

Ronnie Wayne Morgan, age 58 of Mooresboro, NC, died Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son to the late Bobby Steve Morgan and the late Patsy Ann Ervin. He was an iron worker and a lifelong Baptist. He loved dirt track racing and was a race car driver for many years at local races.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hensley Morgan, of the home, Shasta Morgan (Monroe), Bryan Morgan (Kala), Brooke Hammett (Dustin), Caleb Morgan (Tiffany), Hannah Morgan, Autumn Morgan, Michael Morgan (Skyler), Emily Morgan (Toby), Destiny Toney, Tommy Toney (Ashley), his brothers; Bobby Morgan and Eric Summey, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will conduct their own memorial service at 3:00pm Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Prospect Baptist Church of Mooresboro, N.C. with Reverend Tim Elmore officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 3:00pm prior to the service.
