Ronald Eugene Moore

Ronald Eugene Moore, 82, of Chesnee, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born in Spartanburg on July 29, 1941 to the late Lillian Fisher Moore and Leonard Alton Moore.

Mr. Moore was of the Baptist faith and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a Hejaz Shriner and belonged to the Clifton Masonic Lodge.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sharon Lynne Massey (Pete) and Teresa Renee Thompson (Steve); sons, Larry Gene Moore and Leonard Scott Moore (Hope); brothers, Paul Alton Moore and John Wayne Moore; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Lillian and Leonard, he was predeceased by his wife, Margie Dean Johnson Moore; a sister, Norma Faye Moore; and brothers, Charles Edward Moore and Howard Dean Moore.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:00PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, with the Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating.
