Roger "Chico" Gene Crisp

Roger "Chico" Crisp, age 69, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at his home in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Roger was born on November 28, 1955, in Spartanburg, a son of the late Daffney Thompson Crisp and Carmel Crisp. Roger worked as a machine operator at Honeywell for over twenty years. He was extremely hardworking and would do anything for his family. Roger enjoyed watching wrestling and U.F.C fights, working on lawnmowers, and driving his old farm truck his brother Wendall gave him. Above all, he loved his grandchildren, who affectionately called him "Papa".

Roger is survived by his wife of over forty-three years, Barbara Fisher Crisp; daughters, Tammy Martin (Kevin), Denise Price (Clint), Brandi Crisp, and Jill Crisp; sisters, Pamela Roberts and Mavis Foster; brothers, Rick Crisp and Don Crisp; grandchildren, Shanna (Paul), Taylor, Drew, Jacob (Lauren), Paige, Nicolas, Cain, Alexis, Kayden, Tyler, Bryson, and Trinity; and great-grandchildren, Izzy, Levi, Tripp, and Stryker.

Roger was predeceased by his parents and two infant daughters, Tamatha Denise and April Dawn; and a brother, Wendall Crisp.
