Rocky Wayne Sigmon

Rocky Wayne Sigmon, 70, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Rocky was born March 28, 1954, in Spartanburg, SC a son of the late Hal Sigmon and Alice Calvert Splawn (William).

Surviving are his wife, Sheila, of thirty-two wonderful and loving years; daughter, Meredith Priest (Justin); brothers, Donald Calvert (Glenda), and Ronald Calvert (Martha); brother-in-law, Mike Jennings; grandchildren, Ezra, Alden, and Norah Priest; as well as many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, Rocky was predeceased by a beloved daughter, Stephanie Sigmon.

He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed working in his yard and growing a garden.  His dog, Cooper was his sidekick.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.  A private family interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Calvert, Luke Calvert, Adam Sullivan, Charlie Calvert, Jonathan Calvert, and Nicholas Calvert.

The family will receive friends at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Meredith Priest.
