Robert Chauncy Simmons, Jr

Robert Chauncy Simmons, Jr., 80, of Inman, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born March 25, 1944 in Miami Beach, Florida to the late Doris Ruth Wilson Simmons and Robert Chauncy Simmons.

Mr. Simmons was of the Methodist faith and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Civitan Club of Spartanburg.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Jackie Sacks; mother-in-law, Betty Jo Godfrey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, and wife, Rhonda Simmons, he was predeceased by a sister, Judy Maloney.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Mickey Fisher officiating, and Mrs. Leslie Shields speaking.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 626 Norwood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
