Robert "Bobby" James Dove

Robert "Bobby" James Dove, 42, of Inman, passed away on September 20, 2025 at his home. Born May 23, 1983, in Olney, Maryland, he was the son of James Dove, and Sherian L. Huber.

Bobby was a simple and humble man whose presence brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He had a deep love for rock n' roll, and his favorite band, Guns N' Roses, was always playing in the background, especially during family card games of "Hand and Foot." Bobby enjoyed both playing and watching baseball, cheering on his favorite teams, the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. His devotion to the Ravens was so strong that he proudly carried a tattoo of their emblem.

A true dog lover, Bobby had a heart for the overlooked and less wanted pups, giving them a home and unconditional love. His fur babies, Piggy and Lewis, were his loyal companions and held a special place in his heart. Bobby cherished time with his family, whether it was heading to the gun range, cracking into a pile of Maryland crabs, or passing along the perfect crab-cracking technique to his nephew.

He is survived by his father James Dove; mother, Sheri L. Huber (Thomas); sister Cheryl Nethken (Billy); niece, Natalie Dunagin; nephews, Nathan Dunagin, and Eli Dunagin; grandmother, Betty Magruder, along with numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, and close friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held 2:00PM on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Rev. Tim Worthy officiating.
