Richard Lewis Holcombe

Richard "Rick" Lewis Holcombe, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Richard Talmadge Holcombe and Bertha Mae "Pete" Beheler Holcombe. Rick loved to sing. Since the age of 13 he has been in the gospel music ministry. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Rick also had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell tall tales. The bigger the crowd, the better he liked it. His favorite quote was "I wish I had it made".

Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Anissa Knighten (Randy) and Anita Holcombe (Lisa); granddaughter, Angelica Bowlds (Nick); and fiancé, Brenda Kelley.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Rainbow Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Baptist Church, 151 Short Cut Road, Chesnee, SC 29323.
