Rachel Fulk Riggs

Rachel Fulk Riggs, 92, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Born in Yadkinville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Fulk and Amelia Marion Fulk. Mrs. Riggs was a member of View Church and was a proud member of the church choir. She loved flowers, gardening and birds. She especially loved her dog, Maggie May. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Calvin Riggs; and seven siblings.

Mrs. Riggs is survived by her two daughters, Libby Riggs Compton (Michael) and Joy Riggs Johnson (David); son, Ricky Riggs (Allison); six grandchildren, Kelly Compton McLean (Jason), Kevin George Compton (Barri), April Riggs Bates (Jason), Dillon Hunter Johnson, Brandon Calvin Riggs (Beth) and David Austin Johnson (Keltci); and fourteen great-grandchildren, Cole Bates, Emily Bates, Connor Bates, Atlee Johnson, Jonah Johnson, Emir Johnson, Jacob Compton, Luke Compton, Locklyn McLean, Levi McLean, Kole Riggs, Keagen Riggs, Kamdyn Riggs and Kaden Riggs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 13, 2024 at View Church with the Rev. Tyler Kirby and Rev. Tyler Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service from 10:00am until 11:00am.
