Pauline V. Gager

Pauline V. Gager, 92, of Campobello, widow of Jack D. Gager, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born on July 9,1933 in Inglewood CA she was a daughter of the late Howard Goodman and Annie (Antje) Oedekerk Goodman.

Pauline was a hardworking woman whose determination and dedication shaped not only her own life but also the values she passed on to her children. Known for her remarkable green thumb, she could grow just about anything. From vibrant flowers to rows of raspberries she sold to a local cannery, Pauline's hands were always busy nurturing life from the soil.

On just two acres, she built a thriving homestead filled with cows, chickens, and even a mischievous goat that kept things lively. She lived the homesteader's life to the fullest, taking joy and pride in the simple, honest work of the land.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jaben Gager, brothers; Allen Goodman, Arthur Goodman, and Bill Goodman.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Gager, Naujean Bella (Joseph), and Jackie Gager, son, Jay Kowalski and a sister, Nancy Disprow, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Pauline's love for family leaves a lasting legacy of perseverance, humility, and grace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
