Paul Wesley Woolen

Paul Wesley Woolen, 64, loving husband of Melissa Woolen of Inman, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Paul was born on April 25, 1962, to the late George Oscar and Sara Ellen Gossett Woolen. He enjoyed cooking delicious meals for his family and took great pride in preparing meals for those he loved. Paul was an avid fisherman and enjoyed every minute spent on the water with a rod and reel. He also loved traveling to numerous places, especially when accompanied by his wife, Melissa. Above all else, Paul cherished his family and treasured every moment he could spend with them. He was a true “family man” whose greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people he loved.

In addition to his loving wife, Melissa, Paul is survived by his two children, Sara Woolen and her wife, Cassandra Holland, of Cowpens, and Jacob Woolen of Inman; his brother, Mark Woolen and his wife, Carol, of Cleburne, Texas; his granddaughter, Kinsley Jansen of Cowpens; and his beloved four-legged companion, Buddy.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg with Father Dave Rodrick officiating.

The family will be at the home.
