Paul Wayne Mckillop

Paul Wayne McKillop, 72, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at his home after more than a 30-year battle with cancer and other health issues.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Fred McKillop and Thelma Cook McKillop. Wayne was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church. He was also a Mason with the Lone Oak Masonic Lodge.  Wayne retired from Norfolk Southern Railway.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Karen McKillop; son, Brandon McKillop (Lora); three sisters, JoAnn Miller, Patricia Wriborg (Kirk), and Marsha Mason (Jerry); and two grandchildren, Bennett McKillop and Lilli McKillop.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

A funeral service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
