Paul “Chip” Douglas Osborne Jr.

Mr. Paul "Chip" Douglas Osborne, Jr., age 53, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home after a brief battle with cancer.

Mr. Osborne was born on November 10, 1970, in Union, SC, a son of Kathy Moss Cudd and the late Paul "Sonny" Douglas Osborne, Sr. He worked as a Paint Technician at Gerber Collision and Glass.  He was also the owner and operator of Chip's Body Shop for 15 years. His first love was playing guitar. Chip enjoyed being a part of many different bands throughout his lifetime.  He could be found relaxing in his music room playing his favorites. Chip enjoyed motorcycles as well, traveling on the winding roads to the North Carolina mountains with friends. He was an avid gardener and collected and cared for a variety of exotic trees– he considered growing his trees as an art. He was a skilled woodworker and could build anything he set his mind to.  Chip truly loved life and lived from adventure to adventure. He was always up for a challenge, and even sought them out, often finding new skill sets and interests along the way, truly living life to the fullest. Above all else he will be sorely missed by his family and remembered for the love he gave them.

Left behind to cherish his memory, are wife Misty Crisp Osborne; son, Julian Osborne; mother, Kathy Cudd; sister, Paula O. Gault;  brother, Mark Osborne; granddaughters, Ellie and Charli Painter; nephews, Matthew Gault, Grant Osborne, and Hayden Osborne; mother-in-law, Sammye Nix; sister-in-law, Kelley Nix; and special friends, Billy Messer and wife Tally and Tim Hund. In addition to his father, Mr. Osborne was predeceased by his daughter, Jaidi Osborne, sister-in-law, Candi Osborne, step dad, Don Cudd, and his father-in-law, David "Bubba" Nix

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 in the Chapel of Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs with Barry Ham and Brian Stuart officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service.
