Patsy A. Turner

Patsy A. Turner, 82, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away Friday, December 30, 2022.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hattie Lindsey Geddes. Patsy retired at the age of 70 after working for 48 years as a registered nurse. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, best grandma ever, and great grandmother. Patsy was a member of Dependent Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Turner; two sisters, Dorothy and Frances; and three brothers, Joe, Junior and Bobby Geddes.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Randy Carol Turner; two daughters, Penny Turner Flynn (Larry) and Elizabeth Turner Froemel (Matthew); sister, Nancy Davis; five grandchildren, Heather, Taylor, Cynthia Rae, Amber and Matthew, Jr.; five great grandchildren, Katelyn, Andrew, Vivienne, Scarlett and Barrett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:15pm on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. The funeral service with honors provided by The Upstate Nursing Honor Guard will follow at 1:30pm in the Chapel with the Rev. Joe Geddes officiating. Burial will be private.
