Patricia Jean Wyatt

Patricia Moore Wyatt, daughter of Robert Carol Moore and Cora Elizabeth Moore, was born on December 20, 1946, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and passed away on August 3, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family.

Following the passing of her beloved husband, Rob, in May, her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with the man she loved for more than 54 years. They are together again with their daughter, Tonya, along with family members and friends who passed before them.

Pat dedicated much of her professional life to caring for others, first as a nurse and later as a Human Resources Manager. She loved "her doctors", genuinely cared for her patients, and carried that same compassion into her work supporting employees throughout her career.

Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Pat's Bible was among her most treasured possessions. Tucked between its pages are special notes and bookmarks made by her children and grandchildren during Sunday School over the years. These simple mementos remained exactly where she had placed them, quiet reminders of her faith and the family she loved so deeply.

After her passing, her family found a sticky note tucked inside bearing the title of one of her favorite songs, Go Rest High on That Mountain, a small but meaningful reminder of the comfort and faith that guided her throughout her life.

Pat also enjoyed the quiet art of cross-stitching and created many beautiful pieces over the years that her family will treasure forever. Among the family's favorite pieces, is an intricate portrait of Scarlett O'Hara from Gone with the Wind. In more recent years, one of Pat's greatest passions was following the Atlanta Braves. Whether watching from her favorite chair at home or planning her day around first pitch, she rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her team throughout the season.

Pat's greatest joy was her family. She wholeheartedly supported the passions, interests, and pursuits of her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. She could always be found cheering from the bleachers or sitting in the audience.

Pat was the proud mother of three children.

Her sons; Wayne Wilson and his wife, Crystal Dial-Wilson, and their son, Bryce Wilson; and Trey Wyatt and his wife, Jennifer Wyatt, and their children, Drew Wyatt and his wife, Anna Wyatt, Kara Wyatt, and Evan Wyatt.

Her daughter, Tonya Wyatt, preceded her in death. Tonya's memory lives on through her children, Jacquelyn Smith Graham, Lilybeth Bartkowiak, and Wyatt Bartkowiak. Jacquelyn and her husband, Jeremey Graham, are the proud parents of Stella Sage, Pat's beloved great-granddaughter.

Pat's grandchildren, Bryce, Jacquelyn, Lilybeth, Wyatt, Drew, Kara, and Evan, were among life's greatest blessings to her. She took immense pride in each of them and treasured every opportunity to celebrate their achievements and milestones.

Pat also leaves behind two sisters whom she loved deeply, Sue Bryan and Joann Tyler. Their lifelong bond was filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Pat's nephew, Pete Alley, held a special place in her heart. He and his wife, Taylor, shared countless cherished family memories with Pat over the years.

Pat was also blessed with devoted friends, Sheri and Rodney Turner. Through the years, they provided unwavering friendship, love, laughter, and support to both Pat and Rob. Their kindness, selflessness, and devotion, especially during Pat and Rob's later years, will always be remembered with profound gratitude.

Pat was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Her family will always hear in their hearts the phrase she shared so often, "Luv ya, mean it."

A memorial service celebrating the life of Patricia Moore Wyatt will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home, 195 Rainbow Lake Road, Spartanburg, SC

Immediately following the chapel service, family and friends are invited to gather outside the funeral home entrance for a butterfly release in honor of Pat's life and memory.

Following the memorial service, the family will receive friends at the family home.
