Pat Cox

Patricia "Pat" Cox, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at her home.

Born in Laurens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Erskine Nelson and Willie Mae Peace Nelson Waddell. Pat retired from Arrow Automotive after 20 years. She loved going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Sam Cox, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Roben Collins (Bobby) and Kelly Barbrey (Robert); son, Sam Cox, Jr.; and granddaughter, Kristen Collins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm in Good Shepherd Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. David Lancaster officiating.
