Nita Spears Beaver

Nita Spears Beaver, age 78 of Mooresboro, NC., passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital. She was born July 30, 1944 in Union County, GA to the late Fred Spears and the late Lydia Greene Spears. Nita loved to travel with her family to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and go fishing. She also loved her cats and watching the old westerns on T.V. Nita will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and sister. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC.

She is survived by her husband of fifty five years, Eugene "Doc" Beaver, her son Todd B. Beaver and his wife Maria, her sister Linda McDaniel, two nieces Tammy McDaniel and Cindy Spears, nephew Kevan McDaniel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Tanya Beaver Huffman, brother Freddy Spears and her brother in law Bob McDaniel.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00 pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in The A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Cliffside, NC with Reverend Tim Elmore officiating. Burial will be at the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
