Nancy W. Hallman

Mrs. Nancy West Hallman, 89, loving wife of the late Charles “Buck” Hallman, of Spartanburg, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at her residence.

Nancy was born on March 15, 1937 in West Springs, SC. A daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret “Margie” Springs West, she retired as an RN from Spartanburg General Hospital, now Spartanburg Regional. Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling, especially to the mountains or to Edisto, SC. At the center of Nancy’s heart was her family, especially her grandchildren, and she cherished every moment that she could spend with them watching them grow up.

Nancy is survived by her son; Jeffrey Hallman and his wife Patricia of Spartanburg, her daughter, Kelly Scoggins of Columbia, SC; six cherished grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, and three brothers.

In addition to Buck, her loving husband and her parents Alfred and Margie, Nancy was preceded in death by a son, Brett Hallman; a son-in-law, David Scoggins; one grandchild, and six siblings.

The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.
