Miriam Seay Page

Miriam Seay Page, 87, of Boiling Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on February 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Horace Mosley and Frances Belch Mosley Wilkins. Miriam was married to the "love of her life", the late Ronald Defoy Seay for 32 years. She was a proud graduate of Clemson University and dedicated many years to teaching at R.D. Anderson Applied Technology Center.  She began her teaching career in August of 1973 and retired in May of 2000. She had written this about her time there, "I really enjoyed my job and the students. I felt very lucky to be able to teach them." Her love for teaching undoubtedly left a lasting impact on many lives.

She was a longtime member of Eden Wesleyan Church, where she faithfully attended and raised her children in the church.  In later years, she joined View Church, where she enjoyed her Sunday School class, Bible Study group, and worshiping alongside her daughter. Miriam loved her family and cherished time spent with her children and especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling, and her favorite trips were to the Holy Land, Hawaii, and Alaska.  She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and growing flowers.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Vickie Hutchins (Tim) of Boiling Springs, and Michelle Fowler (David) of Boiling Springs, and son, Keith Seay of Boiling Springs; brother, James "Jimmy" Mosley; grandchildren, Kathy Welborn (Dave), Buck Seay (Amber), Addie Hinson (Daniel), Casey Shirley (Jake), and W.J. Fowler;  great grandchildren Kody and Koen Seay, and Penny and Tate Shirley; sisters-in-law, Linda Brewer, and Faye Seay; brother-in-law, Robert Lee; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Catherine Lee; brother, Stevie Mosley; second husband, Robert Page; sisters-in-law, Helen Mosley, and Samantha Clary; brother-in-law, Olin Seay; and special friend, Vickie Seay.

A funeral service to celebrate Miriam's life will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs, conducted by Rev. Tyler Kirby, Rev. Paul Mullinax and Rev. Tyler Estes.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hughey, Rodney Hughey, Darrell Lee, Steve Mosley, Jason Shields, and Mike Dyer. The members of her Sunday school class and Bible study group are asked to sit together in a group.

Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park beside her beloved husband, Ronald.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.
