Mildred Ann Praytor

Mildred Ann Settle Praytor, age 79, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Mildred was born on October 20, 1946, in Spartanburg. She was a daughter of the late, Edward Settle and Mary Jane Yocum Settle.

Mildred was known for her calm, quiet, friendly, and loving demeanor, and was loved by many. She was a devoted member of the Green Point Baptist Church in Inman, where she actively participated in various community and church activities.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Patsy Smith, several nieces, nephews and her cousins, Robert Wines and Bobby Mizelle. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie; her parents; brothers, Earl and Johnny; and sister, Phyllis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Green Point Baptist Church with Rev. David Lancaster officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mildred's gentle spirit and warm smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and friendship will undoubtedly continue to influence those she touched.
