Mildred Mcabee

Mildred McAbee, 96 of Spartanburg passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026. Mildred was born on November 4, 1929, in Lyman, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Ralph Mitchell and Ruby Bridges Mitchell.

Mildred worked many years as a florist and attended Valley Falls Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, Curtis Mitchell; and her nieces, Marion Johnson (Jerry), Barbara Fowler (Tony), and Mary Ann Flemming

She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin McAbee, and her parents.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Green Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Worthy officiating.

Mildred's family and those who knew her will remember her fondly and hold her memory close to their hearts.
