Michael Roscoe "Red" Parris

Mr. Michael Roscoe "Red" Parris, 79, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024.  Mr. Parris was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on October 29, 1945, a son of the late Reba Brown Parris and Roscoe Parris.

He was a member of Hope Church and was the owner and operator of Parris Welding and Fabrication.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Gloria Jean Parris, who was the mother of his three sons, Todd Parris, Keith Parris (Shevela), and Scott Parris. Left to cherish his memory in addition to his sons, are wife Sherri Parris; brother, Doug Parris; grandchildren, Jessica Bishop (Corey), Kasey Wargo (Jeff), Lindsey Parris, Tyler Triplett (Sara), Chloe Parris and Lizzie Parris; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Hope Church with Reverend Daniel Thrower officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Church prior to the service on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM.

A private inurnment will be held at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
