Michael Don "Mike" Quinn

Son of  John Farron and Virginia Arletta Bailey Quinn

Who passed on at the age of 78 on the 24th of February 2025 in Spartanburg SC.

He leaves behind Sarah Beth Quinn; his loving wife for 57 years, son Mark, and sisters: Amelia Thompson of Boiling Springs, and Rosemary Jones of Mount Pleasant.

Mike grew up in Spartanburg where attended school and learned basic electricity from his Dad before joining the U.S. Navy for one tour in 1963.  At the end of his military service he married and was a father two years later.  Mike started his civilian life as a lineman for BellSouth.  Then he became an Electronics Technician in Communications for the City and Country of Spartanburg.   There he fixed and maintained the communications network for law enforcement, fire, and rescue at any hour on any day.  He furthered his skills at Morris Communications as the top Service Manager for The Upstate of South Carolina.  His last change in career was at Pinnacle Coating and Converting in Spartanburg as their Field Service Technician in the garment industry.  His travels with them often put him in New York, Miami, and once to Central America.

Mike Quinn could fix and build just about anything.  His favorite hobby was fixing and building on to his house.  He will be greatly missed.
