Michael Scott Piercy

Michael Scott Piercy (Mike), 64 of Mooresboro, NC passed away unexpectedly on October 15, 2024 at his home.

Mike was the son of Buddy Piercy of Rutherfordton and the late Barbara Pat McDaniel.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Chris Crawley, and a sister, Dianna Piercy.

He is survived by three children, Chad Piercy and wife Christal of Forest City, Chastity Henson and husband Josh of Mooresboro, and Cassidy Piercy of Ellenboro.  Six grandchildren, Canaan Piercy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Laney, Ayden, and Addison Henson of Mooresboro, Skylar Little and Alaya Piercy of Ellenboro.  Two brothers, Dennis Brymer of Florida and Doug Piercy of Forest City.  Cousins Bill Lane and Gayle of Florida, and his best friends of 40 years Billy and Cyndi Humphries of Mooresboro.

Mike retired from PPG Industries.  He loved playing the lottery and buying scratch off tickets. He enjoyed his 6 grandchildren that he loved dearly. He also loved horseback riding and going to the horse sales, he loved collecting guns and going to gun shows.

The family will receive friends Tuesday October 22, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 6:30pm at Race Path Baptist Church in Ellenboro.
